Random Rhythmic Rumblings: Darkness/Light

I am disgusted
I am tired
I am overwhelmed
I am overpowered
It's Darkness
Everywhere
So cold
So dark
Defecating on the universe
Encroaching on my soul

And then
I see it
A Ray
Of hope
Of light
I ride it
Like Einstein
That one ray
Through my doubts
Through the clouds
Takes me
To the Sun
So warm
So bright
